Working with Alliance was easy and a very good experience. They were professional from answering emails and phones promptly, to complete honesty and fairness in pricing. Troy Francis has put together a great team. Ronnie Luna was our inspector. He was prompt and put in an enormous amount of time with the house and with us. He came back for some additional hard work finding a mysterious septic line. This group is First Class! I highly recommend Alliance Home Inspections.

As an agent it is very important that my clients have a home inspection company that is qualified to complete the home inspection, but it’s also important that the client feels comfortable to ask questions, or for further clarification on results if needed. My out of state client’s who were buying a home, could not be in Maine for their building inspection, and the inspector/owner (Troy) did not hesitate when asked to jump on a zoom call with the client right at the property. He ran through an overview of his findings, as well as answered their questions. The cell service was extremely spotty and despite multiple lost connections, and the video call freezing over and over; Troy was extremely patient and continued answering questions, ensuring the client's got the info needed in order to understand, and feel comfortable with the inspection results. I can tell you that this is not common practice in the industry, but speaks to the level of commitment this company is striving to bring to each and every client that hires them to complete home inspection services. A company willing to do the small things and go the extra step for the client if needed, is one I will recommend every time! Thank you Alliance!

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish with Troy. From initial scheduling through a follow up inspection, it was a seamless experience. We had the results of the inspection on the same day it was completed! Troy was thorough and professional, and found some items needing repair that could have become very costly down the road. He handled himself professionally in sharing his findings not only with us, but with the seller. His level of expertise showed, and his friendly, calm demeanor allowed us to resolve the issues with the home without causing hard feelings between us and the sellers. He remained professional and neutral in discussing only factual findings. He was very responsive when contacted, and was able to come back and complete his follow up inspections immediately after the repairs were complete, ensuring our closing stayed on track. His inspections were done on a house that included an in-ground, heated pool, pellet furnace with solar, radiant floor heat, heat pumps, wood stove, private well, and a septic. If a system could be part of home inspection, we think he did it at this property! We highly recommend Troy and Alliance Home Inspections.

They answered the phone after hours and set our appointment up for the following Monday. The service was great and Troy (our inspector) took him time, was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I would recommended this company.

We called alliance for a home inspection on a new build during a very busy month and the owner himself came out and worked with us! He was so professional and informative. He spent lots of time thoroughly checking the house and providing us with information on how to maintain the house. I absolutely would recommend using them!

I appreciated the teacher discount and their communication (quick to respond to e-mails and phone calls). I did feel the report was a little...too casual? But maybe I'm just used to inspectors making a big deal out of everything, whereas Alliance Home Inspections hardly made note of some of those things (like the buckled foundation and chimney that was deteriorating in basement). Everything was in the report, but it's up to you to decide if it "needs attention now" or not.

In the process of buying my first home, I've relied on Alliance Home Inspections twice so far and they exceeded my expectations each time. The inspectors are friendly, knowledgable, and professional. The reports are timely and detailed. All communication via phone, email, and in-person is courteous and informative. I highly recommend Alliance to anyone buying a home and would use them again.

Not only was our original home inspection was scheduled very quickly and we received a very detailed report promptly, but Troy came back 8 months later to check out a small leak at no charge and was incredibly helpful with tips and referrals for not only the leak but other projects we’ll be working on. An excellent company, I highly recommend them.

Wonderful job. They arrived on time, explained their process, addressed my concerns, kept me informed as they proceeded, and reviewed their findings with me. The full report was sent to me quickly, was easy to understand and gave a written explanation with the pictures to back it up. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing a home inspection. Additionally I appreciated the military discount.

We worked with Troy from Alliance Home Inspections. He provided us with a detailed report regarding a property we planned to purchase. He was punctual, courteous, and answered all of our questions. He explained what the various steps of the inspection covered, and things we should note, either for future conversations with the seller or for our own purposes after the sale closed. Brad was our inspector and he was great! Very thorough and more than happy to answer any questions we had. This is not our first home so we have been through the inspection process before and these inspections were by far the most thorough inspections we have seen! The report is very thorough and was sent in a very timely manner. Much sooner than expected. I will definitely be recommending this company to everyone I know!

Alliance Home Inspections went Above and Beyond !!!Our inspector Brad was very friendly, prompt, thorough and accommodating. He did a fantastic inspection job for our newly bought commercial building. He was meticulous and thorough when checking every corner of the inside and outside of the building which included checking every inch of the attic crawl space, roof, and basement...He submitted the report within a couple of hours of completing the inspection. The photos were clear, the information was easy to understand and the recommendations were incredibly useful. I couldn't recommend a better inspection service!More importantly, Troy Francis who is the owner of Alliance Home Inspections, was patient when chatting with me to explain the issues one by one and answering my follow-up questions. His professional suggestions and advice were very helpful for me to check the renovation cost of the building. He has helped me make a much more informed decision and once again I can recommend Alliance Home Inspections without any hesitation; All in all, definitely 5 stars for Alliance Home Inspections!

Maine home inspector that is professional and offers good rates. Offers mold testing radon testing and water testing. Great services. Covering Bangor, Augusta, Portland and coastal areas for building inspections. We would highly recommend their home inspection services.
